CHORDETTE for EDUCATION

Chordette for Education is a ukulele chord library program created specifically for schools and individual instructors.

It can be used for easily creating ukulele chord charts, ukulele song sheets, song video tutorials, and Ukulele sheet music.

This education version has a basic chord set for ukulele beginners that include numbered finger positioning. Available for both Mac and Windows.

TESTED DESIGN

Chordette has been used by numerous Ukulele Clubs to create song sheets and song books. The Chordette custom chord fonts have been used in iOS apps and published Ukulele chord books.

COPY CHORD BUTTON

The Copy Chord button makes it easy to enter ukulele tab and chords into ukulele sheet music. Simply select or enter your desired font size and click the Copy Chord button and paste into your document.

AQUILA KIDS

Chordette for Education is available in color for Macintosh to support Aquila Kids strings for Ukulele.

CHORDS

Chordette for Education supports ukulele tuned GCEA. The apps are available in black and white for Windows, and in both black and white and color for Macintosh.

Chordette for Education is intended for teaching beginner ukulele to kids and adults. It therefore only contains basic uke chords with numbered finger positions.

The chords included are available in traditional fretboard style and in 3D. Mac users have a choice of either chord option in Black and White or Color. Color chords are compatible with Aquila Kids colored strings.

APPS

Chordette for Education is available for Windows and Macintosh, and a color version is available for Macintosh only.

Chordette for Education apps are available for both macOS and Windows. Chordette for Education Color version is only available for Macintosh.

The download format for macOS Chordette for Education apps is a dmg file. The dmg file includes the app, custom chord fonts, and a Read Me file covering installation and app usage. The download format for the Windows Chordette for Education app is a zip file. The zip file includes the app, resource files, custom fonts, and a Read Me file covering installation and app usage. Q:  Why is there no color app for Windows?

A:  One would think color fonts are common, but the truth is the technology is fairly new. Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, and Google are all working on color fonts, but they are incompatible, and Microsoft color fonts do not support current apps, including MS Word. Apple uses their own technology and Chordette for Education works with most macOS apps.
